Student Rentals 2011/2012
The apartments will be available for students from Friday 9th September 2011 until Sunday 27th May 2012.
Apartments/Rooms:
There is a choice of 2 and 3 bedroom apartments consisting of single and twin rooms. If you wish to share a room or apartment with friends please let us know on the booking form.
Security Deposit:
A deposit of €300.00 is payable with your booking, this is a damage / electricity deposit which is refundable subject to the electricity being paid in full and the apartment being vacated in a satisfactory condition. Your room is not reserved until the deposit is paid in full.
Electricity Prepayment:
The electricity pre payment is €300-00 per student and is payable with your booking. The electricity bills are divided equally between the students in each apartment.
Each apartment is metered as a unit and the bill is paid by An Sean Mhuileann, a copy of the electricity bill will be sent to each apartment for your reference. If the electricity costs exceed the electricity pre-payment you will be asked to pay the difference to the An Sean Mhuileann office. Any refunds owed to you from the €300-00 electricity pre-payment will be returned with your deposit.
Utility Charge:
The utility charge is €350 for the student year. it is divided up and included in the rent payments schedule on the following pages and is used to supply the following services:
– Newly upgraded uncontended High speed Broadband internet access
– Multi Channel Television and Licence Fee
– Refuse charges
– Use of Telephone (incoming & internal free, outgoing calls using prepaid cards.)
Internet:
Your laptop or PC will need a network cable to access the internet and there is a broadband outlet in every bedroom over the desk provided.
Rent:
Rent is payable in advance in two instalments, the first rent payment is due on or before the day you move in, payment schedule is as follows.

NB: Please note this schedule assumes that you are moving in on the Friday 9th September 2011, if your course starts earlier or later your rent will be calculated accordingly.
STUDENT SPECIAL
Offer 1
When 3 student's reserve 3 single rooms in the same 3 bedroom apartment, 1 student will be given the large twin room for the same price as a single room for the duration of the lease. The same applies to our 2 bedroom apartments, if 2 students book 2 single rooms together in the same apartment at the same time.
Offer 2
By paying for semester one and two as a single payment before moving in we will allocate a twin room to that student for the same price as a single room for the duration of the lease. (Subject to availability)
